How could one get so motivated, inspired, passionate to do things..., work towards their goals..., inspite of all the ... what do we say that... mmmm.... difficulties.., troubles..., misfortunes... How can one..... Or is it these same things that make them to do those??
Got to see one of these today.... a veterinary doc in his final year, working as a part time (full time during vaccations) courier pickup, studies in the nights.... and won 'the best employee award' from his employer.. smiling, confident.... (How could they come into this world?)
Amazing....... just can laugh at my self... Saying 'Life is too wonderful to be spent worrying' .... :)

7-yr imprisonment in Alwar rape case
Alwar (Rajasthan), April 12: In one of the fastest disposal of cases, B H Mohanty, son of a top Orissa police official, was sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment by a court here on wednesday for raping a German woman.
An MBA student from Delhi, Mohanty, who was found guilty of raping the 26-year-old woman in a hotel on the intervening night of March 20 and 21, was also fined Rs 10,000 by Additional District Judge R K Maheshwari of a fast-track court here.
The victim was not present when the verdict was pronounced.
Mohanty is the son of Orissa cadre Additional Director General of Police B B Mohanty.

A Man's Wish

A man was walking along the beach in California one day, thinking to himself and doing his best to sort out his life and pray for happiness.
He stopped and looked up to the sky, looking for a sign of his faith, and said, "Oh Lord, if you are there... grant me one wish."
Suddenly there was a crack of lightning in the sky and in a booming voice echoed from above, saying, "Man, you have done your best to be faithful, though you have not always succeeded. I will grant your prayer and offer you one wish."
The man looked out over the ocean, thought it over for a moment, and said, "I wish for you to build a bridge all the way to Hawaii, so I can drive over anytime I want to."
The voice boomed, "Think of this would entail! The millions of tons of concrete and steel, the depths of the Pacific to build on... such a materialistic wish! I can certainly do it, as anything is in my power, but it would be better for your soul to put aside this desire for worldly things. Pray for a moment and think of another wish, a wish that would honor and glorify me."
The man sat down on the sand and thought about it. Finally he gazed upward and said, "Oh Lord, I have been married and divorced five times. I did not understand any of my wives, and every one said I was insensitive and ignorant..."
"Lord," he continued. "My wish is to understand women, to know how they feel, what they think, why they laugh and cry, and how I can truly make them happy." The man looked up at the sky, awaiting his answer. There was a minute of absolute silence... then another... and another. Finally, the voice boomed, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Mumbai with its rains
Mumbai's best buddy, the famous monsoon rain wokeup after a lull of 10 days.. and poured its deficit in a single day...
It changed many so called permanent(!) things... humans, animals, buildings, vehicles...
It bought the spirit, endurance, togetherness of the humans who reside out too..

With Samir yesterday
Yesterday went to Matunga with Samir (room mate, colleague) in search of "Thiruvasagam" Ilayaraja's new release, and failed.
Then had food at Cafe Mysore and we ate idly, dosai and payasam for 170 bugs... God I ate 8 of the first one.. He talked about Sujit's behaviour (Should talk to him.. May be should have told earlier before leaving baroda... he is digging his own grave.. by not being truthful.. Pity for Manjulika.. May be it is too late now.. carrying his baby.. hhmmm)
Reached home late.. as usual.. and had arguments with samir having ram and srini in my side about his plant visit report... I am too dominating.. trying to find even small errors.. What happened to you sathish?? Ok.. it is over now.. and can't undo... so let me improve on that..
Sent documents to dad in the evening...
Job... What am I doing here??.... feel like a parasite sucking the fruits of someothers... hhhmmmm.. should do something... and that too fast... else may rationalize it...
But is this the way to write a blog?? Well.. let me write some in this first... later decide on what to write.. let me be consistent...
